Waiting at the Aquarium

Audubon Aquarium of the Americas was our destination for the afternoon but the purpose was to spend time with Tiffany, Adam and the M & M's. We drove to the French Quarter, parked surprisingly close to the Aquarium and walked around the waterfront as we waited for them to arrive. We watched the Natchez as it loaded and then headed down river. I'm fascinated every time I stand by the side of the mighty Mississippi River. I could watch it for hours as the memories flood through my mind.
The Canal St. Ferry docked several times while we waited. There were walking passengers, bicyclists, cars, trucks and even a tractor!
Watching the ferry...
Looking down the Riverwalk. It was a beautiful sunny morning with a nice breeze.
The Trolley at the Canal Street stop.
My husband the rebel...you are not supposed to be on that side of the fence! Are they here yet????? GRANDFATHER!!!!!
Group hug! It's so good to see you!
Look how big we are Grandfather! Big smiles all around.
Marin says "look at the big boats." Marshall says "ships, Marin!"

The red one was moving sooooo fast!
"Hi mom, come see the ships!"
Time to go see the fish!
