Visiting Ben's Aunts & Uncles

We went t0 Uncle LeRoy & Aunt Earlene's in time to see him for a little while before he headed back out on the river. Listening to him talk, I think TLC or Discovery should do a reality series on tug boat captains. It was so fascinating listening to his stories!
I promised Aunt Earlene I wouldn't post the pictures of her and Ben- only one of ChiChi. At least I have a couple others for the scrapbook! Aunt Rose Jean and Ben were looking at a plaque commemorating WWII veterans from St. John the Baptist Parish. It was a beautiful facility.I love this picture of the two of them. What a touching moment that I was lucky enough to catch!
I could see Uncle Louis just fine but when I viewed the picture, I realized the chair was right in front of him. Guess I'd better get up and move it!
That's a little better!
Uncle Louis made his famous Tilapia Almondine (yum, yum) and we shared a wonderful time with cousins Cathy, Amy, Maurice and Austin. Thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome. I'm very happy I got to spend time with so much of my new family.
