September 25, 1960...it was a very good day. The day my wonderful husband was born. We had plans for the day. A full day of deep sea fishing was what he really wanted to do. That was pretty easy. We did some research, tried to figure out the best place to go, the best fish to catch and the best way to proceed. But we had to postpone his birthday trip as duty called. Which reminds me...due to a new policy, I have to make the following statement... This is a personal blog. The opinions expressed here represent my own (or Ben's) and not those of my employer. So there! So we started out the day at school- a homecoming celebration of epic proportions. We took lots of really cute pictures but I can't really show them to you. My dear friend Janet and her daughter stopped to wish Ben a happy birthday!
I got to help pass out free t-shirts to the kiddos! We enjoyed a yummy hot dog lunch and beautiful weather.
Ben swapped "stone" stories with our friend Frank.
We stayed for the first part of the football game but it was time to continue Ben's birthday extravaganza...
