This blog is really out of date so I'm going to do my best to catch up again! Ben and I went to New Orleans in April so that I could attend my first
NCEA conference. It was amazing to be with that many Catholic educators all at once. I got new information, new contacts and new energy to continue the important work we do. I took pictures at the conference but not lots- out of respect for the presenters. I am so excited to attend the next one! Since we were there, we went a week early to visit with family.

This picture was outside Holliers Cajun Kitchen. Now that was some good eatin' Pawpaw!

My momma and daddy!

Aaron, Aunt Dee and Uncle Richard joined us for Friday supper.

Aren't they so cute?!

My daddy and my husband... always up to something! On a different day, we met my sister Alana and nephew Jordan at Piccadilly. It's not a trip to Louisiana without a stop at Piccadilly and this one was no exception!

Oh yeah, Alana's SO, Keith and Ben were there too!

One of the highlights of this trip was spending time with the grandchildren! (L to R: Marshall, Brodie, Liam and Skylar)

Marin jumped in with the boys!

Brodie and Skylar belong to Ben and Liam, M & M are Tiffany's children.

Three generations of Roussel ears, I mean men!

Ben's SO, Ashley joined the picture!

Tiffany's husband Adam joined in too!

I missed you too Marshall!

Then we took the M & M's with us so Ben could hang out with them in NO while I was in class. Always time to play in the pool!

Love this picture.

We walked all over NO. One day, we walked throughout downtown searching for a place to eat. We finally ended up at Subway less than a block from the hotel. Heading back, we walked by the hotel restaurant and Marin said "you mean we could have just eaten at the hotel?" They slept good that night!

Having fun!

This is just to show I really was there!

On one of our evening walks...

We had so much fun with them!
The NOPD were laughing when we asked to do this!
