Multnomah Falls

One of Tiffany's requests was to return to Multnomah Falls and hike to the top. The day turned out to be perfect. A little cloudy and overcast weather made it cool enough to climb up the mountain. In order to hike properly, one must find the right hiking stick!

So cute!

Time to stop and breathe. This is harder than they thought it would be. Okay maybe that is what I thought...especially since I had to use my inhaler several times :(

Love this picture of three generations. And Liam has grown so much since his last visit to the Falls.
Stopped to have a snack, some yummy bananas.

"See, that climb wasn't so bad, lol!"

Enjoying the view from the top of the Falls. It was beautiful!

Almost back to the bottom.

Marshall took this picture. As we will learn in the weeks ahead, he took some really good pictures of us (without making us pose like Marin did.)

Grandfather and grandsons- too cute! You know that when the opportunity presented itself, we had to take it!

Mt St Helens

We were very excited this summer to have Tiffany and the children visit us. The day after they arrived, Ben took them to Mt. St. Helens. It was a beautiful June day but with the higher elevation, the children were quite chilly. Fortunately, they found "Bigfoot Country" sweatshirts to snuggle into! Look at the fog in the background. And the fake smiles in the foreground :)

Liam...future helicopter pilot!

Beautiful bridge
