Several days in a row, Marin told me that if I bought lemons, she would make lemonade. She carefully wrote down the recipe and we headed to the store to get lemons. After I cut the lemon in half, she began squeezing. She worked and worked and Marshall got into the process by lending moral support.
Occasionally he would tell her that she needed to do this or that, but mostly he just kept saying that it looked like it was going to be good. She stirred in the pitcher and in the glass. She squeezed into the pitcher and then dropped the lemon half into the mixture. She took the lemon out and squeezed some more. She added water, ice, sugar, "lemon insides," took out ice and stirred some more.
It was finally time for sampling.
Bottoms up!
The lemonade is declared a complete success. In fact, Marshall gave it a Thumbs Up!
Time for Grandfather to have a taste. He was a great sport by taking a big drink and telling her how much he liked it!
Time for baths and bed. Time for Mitsie to get out the ingredients for her "lemonade."
Now that's what I call the perfect glass~Lemon Drop!
