During the week, M & M would go with me to school. The first week, we brought in a horse and pony for the children to ride. This first picture was pretty funny to me. Marshall said that the pony was not ready to move because Marshall wasn't ready to say "giddy-up."
When Marin dressed that morning, I reminder her that she would be riding a horse. She told me that she could wear a skirt because she was going to ride side saddle. The stable didn't get the memo to bring an English saddle for her but she made it work anyway.
That night, the children were writing in their storybooks and Marshall asked "how do you spell "ar?" I asked, "what's that Marshall?" He said, "I just need to know how to spell 'ar'." I said that I wasn't sure what "ar" was so I didn't know how to spell it. I asked him to read me his story so I could try and figure it out. He got a little angry and said "Mitsie, I already know how to spell big. I just need you to tell me how to spell 'ar.' You know...Bigg-er!" I love that kid!
