Marin had a yummy hamburger and she told us a most interesting story. She told Ben that when she was 16, she was going to work at my school. He asked if she was going to stay with us. She said, "No, I am going to live in Beaverton." He said "with your Mom & Dad?" She said, "no, silly, with my husband." I asked if she had met him yet and she said "no ma'am. My Daddy and I haven't looked for him yet."
We had breakfast one morning at IHOP.
They had great "kid menus" to keep us busy until the food arrived.
On the way back from the beach, we stopped at Mo's. The children said that the best part was the dessert.
They told us that they "never" get ice cream at home so as any good grandparents would, we gave them ice cream every time we could!

One Sunday, Allisa, Ashley and Brady joined us for lunch.

For this treat, the children were required to help me recycle bottles and cans (my least favorite job) to earn the money they needed for cones. They actually enjoyed the experience. They said they didn't know why there weren't machines where they lived that changed cans into money! We had breakfast one morning at IHOP.

It was such a fun time. The children kept us all entertained.
After a busy shopping spree at the Nike employee store, we had ice cream cones at Baskin Robbins!
